Our History
J&J Truck Equipment, a division of Somerset Welding & Steel, created in 1999,
was formerly part of Lincoln Supply & Equipment Company. The firm
manufactures and distributes sophisticated industrial truck equipment to the
construction, commercial and retail trucking industries, as well as heavy equipment
dealers.
What We Offer
Serving the entire Northeast and Midwest, J&J provides the latest technology in
field service cranes and crane bodies, air
or hydraulic operated lubrication service units, hydraulic systems, service
bodies, and flatbeds. In addition, J&J Truck Equipment's service and repair
department provides specialized custom welding and fabrication (including
steel, aluminum and stainless steel), dump and trailer body repair and painting,
and a wide variety of other services.

How We Are Growing
In the latter part of 1999, the company added 3 more bays to its existing
facility. The addition of 9,600 square feet was necessary to keep up with customer
demand. The addition also allowed J&J Truck Equipment to diversify into further
product lines.
