All Knapheide service bodies come with the fifteen standard features listed below, and all bodies can be assembled to meet your specific work needs. For more information, submit your request using our request information form.

Fifteen work-ready features standard on every J&J service body:
  1. Rugged 14 guage two-sided A-40 galvanneal steel body shell.
  2. Complete prime paint immersion featuring a zinc phosphate precoat and seal.
  3. Double-shell, 20 guage, two-sided A-40 galvanneal steel reinforced doors.
  4. 250-lb capacity adjustable divider shelves made of spangled galvanized steel.
  5. Double springs keep doors in positive open or closed position.
  6. "Security-Ring" strikers add strength, security and a weather tight seal.
  7. Paddle-activated, rotary-style latches close easily and stay closed.
  8. Thick bulb-type neoprene door seals protect contents from weather.
  9. Mar resistant, light gray interior finish makes finding contents easier.
  10. Stainless steel continuous hinge for rust protection, support and security.
  11. Undercoating provides extra protection from corrosion and road debris.
  12. Interior light guards protect the optional recessed light package.
  13. Rubber-coated chains reduce rattling and protect against paint damage.
  14. "Return Flange" floor design provides support, strength, rust protection.
  15. "Quick Mount" installation for quick, safe mounting and easy transfers.

Adds 1-1/2" to overall body height.

Transverse provides up to 44% more storage than comparable conventional service bodies.
Transverse compartment includes two drawers and flat shelf (4-1/2" above floor).
Plus 50 Low Profile Service Bodies Plus 50 Low Profile
Spacious transverse provides up to 38% more storage than comparable conventional service bodies.
